Product Bulk Editor Based on Attributes Plugin

HyperNop Product Bulk Editor Based on Attributes Plugin will give the store owner the ability to view and edit all of the store's products and their attributes combination in one page. By default, the nopCommerce platform has a “bulk editor” function which would let the store owner view all of the store’s product in one page and edit products basic information (SKU, price, old price, stock quantity, is published) as well. If products have attributes and store owner would like to edit the values of these attributes, they should visit every product page and edit the values of the product’s attributes. In stores with high product count, this process would be extremely hard and nearly impossible.

This plugin will not only show the list of all products and their basic information but it also shows a list of the product’s attributes combination (if the product has any attribute combination). The plugin also gives the store owner the option of defining new attributes and new attribute combinations for the products on the same page. Products basic information (SKU, price, old price, stock quantity, is published) and combined attributes information (stock quantity, allow out of stock, SKU, manufacturer part number, GTIN, overridden price and notify admin for quantity below) can also be edited on the same page.

The ability to view and edit all of the product’s attributes combination on one page is extremely useful for stores with high product count and/or stores with products which have a high count of attributes.

For example, a store sells laptops as their main product. Each laptop has many attributes like CPU, RAM, hard drive space, GPU, color and so on. Customers should choose these attributes with their need in mind. A combination of Dual Core, 8GB, 500GB, 2GB, and Red is one of the many attributes combinations which stores owner should track their stock quantity and price. With this plugin store owner simply searches the name of the product then they can view and edit all of the attribute combination’s information in that page with a simple double click.

Note: in version 4.20 of this plugin, two new columns have been added to the bulk editor’s table. First is a preview image column that displays the product’s image. Second is a “Base Price” column which displays the product’s base price. Also in the newest update of this plugin, for each product’s section, two tabs have been added for the “Attributes” and “Attribute Combinations”. In the attributes tab, the store owner has the ability to view the product’s attributes and if so desired to edit each attribute. In the attribute combinations tab, the store owner would be able to view and edit each attribute combination (if the product has any). The new update makes the management of the products much easier.
